The easiest way to get from Lisbon Airport to your hotel is by taxi, but there are other alternatives that are also very practical and cheaper.

Airport’s Underground

​

The access to the Underground is next to the airport  main entrance.

​

This is one of the preferred ways to arrive or depart from the airport. It is possible to get to the city center only changing lines one time. It is a very inexpensive trip of approximately 20 minutes.

Airport’s Shuttle

​

The Aerobus Carris nº.91 takes 20 minutes to get to the city center. Buses no. 5, 22, 44, 45 and 83 stop in various destinations in and around the center of Lisbon. The Aerobus Carris No. 91 runs everyday from 7:45am to 8:45pm. Tickets cost 1.35 euros, purchased in the bus; you can also buy a daily bus ticket which can also be used in the tramway network. This daily ticket costs 3.35 Euros.

 

Aerobus and Aeroshuttle

Carris currently has two service routes between Lisbon Airport and the city center: route 91 - Aerobus (from Airport to Cais do Sodré) + route 96 - AEROSHUTTLE ( from Gare do Oriente to Praça de Espanha). In these two routes the ticket is acquired on-board and costs €3,50. This card is valid in all the Carris network on the day you buy it.

Taxis at the airport

Metered taxis are available 24 hours a day.

 

The taxis at Lisbon airport are located on the outside areas of arrivals and departures.

Without traffic the ride should not last more than 15 minutes and cost a maximum of 20 euros.
